Hillside Ave. Historic Renovation
Santa Fe, NM

Historic New Mexico Territorial Stye Renovation.

Originally built in 1925, this classic adobe home was thoughtfully restored in 2015 by Tyaga and Company, preserving its historic charm while integrating modern comfort. Nestled within a private, gated cul-de-sac of similarly aged homes, the setting evokes the authentic spirit of Santa Fe—where heritage and community blend seamlessly.

With high ceilings and a rare basement beneath, the home maintains excellent airflow, staying cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Spanning approximately 2,300 square feet, the interior is bathed in natural light and reflects a Territorial-style remodel defined by craftsmanship and careful attention to detail.

The open-concept living and dining areas feature hand-adzed vigas, rich wood flooring, and an inviting sense of space. The original casement windows have been meticulously restored, honoring the character and integrity of this century-old residence. This is more than a home—it's a beautifully preserved piece of Santa Fe's living history.
